Bio

There is a quiet intelligence that lives beyond words. It reveals itself in stillness, in presence and in the subtle language of connection. Cornelia’s work invites you into this space through the gentle yet profound wisdom of horses and the natural world.

Set within the landscapes of the Garden Route, her work centres on the relationship between human and horse as a mirror for self-awareness, emotional intelligence and embodied presence. Horses, in their sensitivity and honesty, respond not to what we say, but to what we are. In their presence, something real begins to emerge.

Cornelia holds spaces where this connection can unfold naturally. Her approach blends science-based, consensual horsemanship with mindfulness, somatic awareness and therapeutic frameworks that support emotional integration. Drawing from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, inner child exploration and equine-assisted experiential learning, she weaves together a practice that is both grounded and intuitive.

Her work is not about learning to control or train, but about learning to listen. To energy, to body language, to the subtle cues that shape all relationships. Through this, participants begin to understand not only horses more deeply, but themselves.

At the heart of her work is a reverence for the ancient bond between horses and humans. A relationship built on trust, presence and mutual respect. She is also a passionate advocate for ethical, holistic horse care and training, guided by compassion, consent and a deep respect for the horse as an autonomous being.

Who This Is For

Those seeking a deeper connection with themselves through nature. Those drawn to horses, whether experienced or new, who feel curious about a more conscious and respectful way of relating. Those wanting to cultivate presence, emotional awareness and authenticity in how they move through the world.

What to Expect

Experiences take place in nature, often alongside horses, where the environment itself becomes part of the process.

Sessions may include guided practices in presence, observation and mindfulness, as well as horse-human interaction that explores non-verbal communication, energy awareness and relational dynamics. There is no pressure to perform or achieve. The invitation is simply to notice, to feel and to be.

Through these interactions, insights often arise naturally. A deeper awareness of self, of patterns, of how we show up in relationship. The work is subtle, yet often deeply transformative.
