SUMMARY:Gratitude Journey
DESCRIPTION:Horse Medicine meets Movement Medicine & Dance \nThere is a different kind of learning that happens when we slow down enough to listen. \nThis immersion brings together Equine Assisted Therapy\, natural mindfulness and Movement Medicine-inspired dance\, guided by a generous herd and experienced facilitators who prioritise safety\, consent and ethical care. \nRather than striving for growth as an outcome\, this space invites something more subtle. A return to presence. A softening into awareness. A willingness to meet each moment as it is. \nWhat to expect \nThe day unfolds at a spacious and grounded pace\, allowing time for integration and embodied experience. \nYou’ll be guided through: \n\nGentle\, trauma-informed interactions with horses\nMovement Medicine-inspired practices for authentic expression\nMindfulness and non-verbal awareness exercises\nReflective moments to anchor insight into daily life\nA supportive\, small-group environment\n\nThis is a space where listening becomes the practice. To the body. To the land. To the quiet intelligence of the herd. \nThe heart of the experience \nThe journey is inspired by the 21 Gratitudes from Movement Medicine\, reimagined through equine work and experiential learning. \nEach element becomes a living inquiry. From grounding and presence\, to courage\, compassion and connection. These are not ideas to understand\, but qualities to embody and return to in everyday life. \nWho this is for \nThis experience may resonate with: \n\nThose drawn to mindfulness\, nature and embodied practice\nIndividuals seeking a deeper\, slower connection to themselves\nHorse lovers and those curious about equine-assisted work\nAnyone wanting to cultivate presence\, resilience and awareness in a practical way\n\nNo prior experience is needed. \nWhat’s included \n\nFacilitated equine experiences\nMovement Medicine-inspired sessions\nMindfulness practices and guided reflection\nA small\, intentionally held group\nPractical tools for integration beyond the day\n\nFacilitators \nCornelia Scholtz\n Cornelia works with Equine Assisted Experiential Learning and holistic approaches to support awareness\, resilience and healing. Her work integrates CBT\, mindfulness\, somatic practices and gentle presence to deepen connection between human and horse. \nAnja Bock\n Anja is a Movement Medicine teacher and facilitator who brings together dance\, healing arts and a deep reverence for the Earth. Her work is grounded\, heart-led and rooted in connection across people\, land and life. \nThe setting \nThe farm offers an off-grid experience where both horses and humans live closely with natural cycles. \nAcross 150 hectares of wild space\, horses move freely through riverine landscapes\, thicket and open veld\, held within an environment that prioritises their wellbeing\, autonomy and natural rhythms. \nPractical notes \n\nSecure parking available\nAccess via dirt roads (vehicles with some clearance recommended)\nSmall group size (limited to 6 participants)\n\n
